Barely There Make-up
Whenever I don’t feel like doing a full face (which usually happened on a school day/happens on a work day), this is what I do:
- moisturize using Olay Complete All Day Moisture Lotion with SPF 15
- Burt’s Bees lip balm on the lips
- Studio Lights color corrector under the eyes using ring finger
- N.Y.C. cover stick in green (to counteract any redness) using fingers
- Select Cover-up concealer on top of Studio Lights using 194
- NYX eyebrow pencil or Maybelline Expert Eyes Twin Brow and Eye pencil to fill in brows
- Clarins Fix’ Mascara to set eyebrows using cheap eyebrow brush
- Benefit Lemon-aid on entire eyelid area using ring finger
- Almay eyeliner in Black Brown on waterline and on upper lashline
- L’Oréal De-Crease primer on lower lashline using ring finger to prevent eyeliner from smudging
- choice of blush on cheeks using blush brush
- choice of lipgloss on lips
- curl lashes using Shu Uemura eyelash curler
- apply mascara of choice
- N.Y.C. Smooth Skin Loose Face Powder using 182 (optional step in case I feel a tad shiny that day; also used to set concealers)
This normally takes 10 minutes or less. I do this because I don’t like to spend time applying make-up [or even doing my hair] in the morning. I would honestly rather sleep. I skip the foundation and just go right to concealer for a normal school/work day when I know I won’t be doing anything special later on in the day or night because I don’t really need it (I only use it to even out my skin tone, not to cover up blemishes). This makes for a great natural look that you can do quickly.
