I am a twenty-something female residing in California. To be a little more specific, I reside in the Los Angeles area about ten minutes away from the beach. I am a huge fan of M·A·C. I’m not going to lie, most of my make-up is from them; however, I also like products from Benefit and Urban Decay. I am not a snob when it comes to make-up as I also use drugstore brands like Almay, Maybelline, Milani, N.Y.C., NYX, and Rimmel. I love all kinds of make-up, which is why this site is called “makeupaholic,” as opposed to “M·A·C-aholic.”
My experience with make-up goes back to middle school. I guess, I would even say it was earlier than that because I remember playing with my mom’s make-up, especially her eyeshadows and lipsticks, when I was just a child. I was always fascinated when I watched her sitting in front of the mirror applying blush and lipstick. I’ve always been a “girly girl.”
From middle school to high school, my make-up staples were foundation and eyeliner. I didn’t really get into eyeshadows and other types of make-up until college. Once I got started, though, it became a drug for me. It’s amazing how much you can do with it because of its versatility. Make-up can help to enhance your natural features or transform you completely. I love how you can get really creative with it. The more I learn about it, the more hooked I become. I am definitely at the peak of my obsession. That’s how this site came to be. I’m really excited to express my thoughts and opinions on something I love and share them with people.

Stuff You May or May not Care About:
- I love to eat. Food and wine are other passions of mine.

- I like to cook and bake, but hate to clean. I have my specialty dishes.
- I want to eventually become a vegetarian (I’m working on it).
- I love music, especially jazz and classical, also oldies. Sometimes I feel like I’m a 20-something trapped in a 30- or 40-year-old’s body.
- I was in a sorority in college, but I’m an atypical sorority girl.
