If you live in California, you know that yesterday was an incredibly hot day. I went to Vegas in early August and the weather at that time was as bad as it was here in LA yesterday. It ranged from 102 to 110ºF. Any sort of light physical activity, such as walking from one room to another, caused me to sweat. This heat is definitely bad for the make-up that you own, especially if your room is as hot as an oven like mine is.
Don’t let make-up that easily melt, such as eyeliners and lip balms, be victims of this weather. It may be common sense to some of you, but perhaps not to others. Protect your products by storing them in the refrigerator. Similarly, you can do this with your skincare products, especially face creams and moisturizers. It is so much more refreshing to put something cool on your face than it is to pile on something that’s been sitting in warm weather for a while. This is a lesson that I have learned the hard way. I know I won’t be a victim again.
